The Global Affairs in Dialogue Committee is going into a new round. This year’s topic: EXPRESSION.
We plan to host events/excursions/lectures/panels all around the notion of expression. This can include modes, regulations, restrictions of expression, expression in times of (mis)information and so on.
We are still in the early stages, so if you want to contribute, feel free to join our next brainstorming meeting on Wednesday (22.11.) at 6pm in the Common Room!

ICGT – “Friendsgiving”
As the month slowly ends, it’s time for another Inter-cohort Get-together!
The Mediators would love to see you there next Friday, the 24th of November, from 2pm to 5pm in the Common Room and the corridor! This time, the central theme is “friendsgiving” – we want to emphasize the friendships and community within LAS. Hence, this ICGT is going to be a potluck.
Please, bring food and/or drinks with you to share (no matter if homemade or store bought). We would also recommend bringing a cup. Additionally, bring your favourite boardgames and let’s all have a good time!

Translation of university related information (Paul Sterzel)
Dear all,
Our central administration has started a translation project to make more
information accessible to non-German speakers. The focus is on English, with
some French possible.
[…] I am confident that we – UCF students and staff – can help out here and
improve the situation for non-German speakers at UCF in terms of admin
forms, webpages, StuPOs, etc. To collect your ideas and suggestions, I have
set up a file on BWSS: https://bwsyncandshare.kit.edu/s/9HWPSQdcCgTZe76
[…] I would like to send a first round of suggestions by the end of November and kindly ask you to make
your entries by then.
Best,
Paul
