Quixotic Session #2.2 What Do We Do With Great Art By Bad People? (Wed. 05.11.25, 17:00, Co-Creation-Room, AU)

Did you ever listen to a band, read a good book or watched a great film which, how you later found out, was created by a person that is considered “bad”?
Did you then perhaps feel a bit confused about what you should think of the piece of art? Whether it’s okay to continue being a fan?
Or are you just interested in what might be behind the question “What do we do with great art by bad people?” and want to share your opinions with others?
Then you’re warmly welcome to join our next Quixotic session on 5th November at 5 pm in the Co-Creation Room, to discuss, drink tea, have snacks, and chat.
This topic originated because I (Sandra) am currently reading a book called “Monsters: What do we do with great art by bad people” by Clare Dederer (2023) – by the way, I am still at the very beginning because uni wants me to focus on reading other things…
If you want, you can pick up a copy in the common room with two small passages of the book. It is just supposed to introduce you to the topic, so don’t worry, you can also come if you didn’t read it before.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

With love,

Lucie, Ani and Sandra
