In the wake of the Refugee Crisis and unrest in the Middle East, there has been a lot of debate regarding refugee rehabilitation, civilian involvement and UN intervention.
To further explore some of these questions, the Governance Interest Group has organized a three-part lecture series: “Beyond the Crisis: Civilians in Armed Conflicts” and they cordially invite you to join and engage in the discussions.
Detailed descriptions of the three talks are as follows:
- Dr. Melanie Kolbe (July 13) – Refugees of Today
- Rica Terbeck (July 20) – The UN in Humanitarian Crises
- Hannah Pool (July 26) – Lost Between Borders
We are extremely excited for the lecture series and hope to see you there.
